Another year, come and gone...

A long radio silence...

The drive to write again is overwhelming.

Last year around this time, I was reflecting on why we have new year's resolutions when they are never really kept (for most of us mere mortals :-).

Today, I know why. It is a chance, given to us by our calendar, to turn over a new leaf -- to recommit. So here I am. Recommitting. To discipline...challenging myself to develop life-affirming habits: gratitude; writing; losing lbs to save a life; eating healthier; spending time in solitude seeking a re-connection with that wise inner voice; re-connecting with joy, passion and laughter to embrace life's breath; reaching out to connect with other strong women who seek; reading, reading, reading; learning, learning, learning; giving something of myself to the world with balance; living a life of truth and personal integrity; refrain from toxic thinking, speaking, whining, laziness, fatigue.

Here's to a brand new year, a brand new start, a brand new re-commitment to LIFE!

Sending joy your way!
